FOOT & ANKLE INJURIES

HAMMER TOE
A hammer toe is a deformity of the second, third or fourth toes. In this condition, the toe is bent at the middle joint, so that it resembles a hammer.

MORTON’S NEUROMA
Morton's neuroma involves a thickening of the tissue around one of the nerves leading to your toes. This can cause a sharp, burning pain in the ball of your foot.
MALLET TOE
Mallet toe is a foot deformity that causes one or more toes on the foot to bend downward instead of lying flat and facing forward.
LISFRANC FRACTURE
Lisfranc fracture, is an injury of the foot in which one or more of the metatarsal bones are displaced from the tarsus.
HEEL SPURS
Heel spurs are abnormal bony growths that develop at the back of or under the heel.
HALLUX (BIG TOE) LIMITUS RIGIDUS
When the joint at the base of your big toe is extremely inflexible, we describe the condition as hallux limitus or rigidus.
CLAW TOE
Claw toe is a common foot deformity in which your toes bend into a claw-like position, digging down into the soles of your shoes and creating painful calluses on the top or tips of the toes.
CALLUSES AND CORNS
Corns and calluses are areas of thick skin, usually on the hands and feet. They happen because of repeated pressure or friction.

Matatarsal fractures is a break or tine hairline crake in one of the matatarsal bones in the foot.
